Test step ideas

In the test cases I do, I test both positive and negative/error/insucess situations, and occasionally it would be useful to be able to look "into" biztalk's db, to check for cases such as:

- routing failures
- active instances

and also do cleanup, by terminating instances.

TestSteps to do these kind of actions would be very helpful. Are there any plans to develop steps like these?

Hi,
Nice idea. No, we havent any plans to do these but would welcome any suggestions or contributions. In the orchestration, port and application conductor steps we have some enumerated actions to stop or start or disable the artifacts and thats as far as we have got to. Havent written anything specific to terminate instances, but that shouldnt be too difficult. (Just a question of getting the time to do it )

Generally, I would prefer to use the object Model rather than look at the database because its a rather complex schema and there could be breaking changes.
